Partay with 'Togs in the OC
 Wednesday, March

To translate, we had a great little (actually, pretty good sized) get-together the other day at the beautiful home of Victor Sizemore in Orange County last week.  I'm exhausted so I'll leave you with these images to guess who's who.  When I have a chance, I'll do some name-droppin.

 Captivated
 Thursday, February

I joined my buddy, Julie, this weekend at a photography seminar/trade-show called "Captivated by the Light", which was hosted by Ed Pierce.  We learned some stuff about lighting and generally got inspired by great photographers such as Parker Pfister.

It was great to meet and see everybody too, such as; Alyssa, Melissa, Nely, Susie and too many others to mention.  Come to think of it, we were probably also like a mini support group for getting over not making it to OSP West this year. : /

Canon was there showing off some goods.  So that's what the inside of my camera looks like!

A quick shot of Alyssa using Canon's tilt-shift lens.

 Clean Your Sensor
 Friday, February

Tip of the week for digi photogs is this: take time to clean the sensor in your D-SLR. Every couple/few shoots, just get in there with a good cleaning kit and save yourself a fair amount of time in front of the computer.  I highly recommend the Pec-Pad and Eclipse Optical Solution, which you can get from Copper Hill Images .  They have great instructions and their customer service is unbelievable.  Nope, I'm not affiliated with them in any way.  Just wanted to pass along a good thing.
